Humidity

The higher the humidity, the happier an Anthurium plant.

Light

Place your Anthurium Veitchii in a warm, well-lit spot. The more light the plant receives, the more it will grow, but never expose it to direct sunlight.

Temperature

Anthurium Veitchii plants prefer temperatures 75 Β°F-85 Β°F (23.9 Β°C-29.4 Β°C) during the day and about 10 Β° cooler at night. Temperatures below 50 Β°F (10 Β°C) slow the growth of leaves and flowers.

Watering

Water your Anthurium Veitchii when the top 25% of soil is dry. Your Anthurium Veitchii prefers a consistent watering schedule.

Fertilizing

Use a balanced fertilizer or one a little higher in nitrogen for Anthurium plants. Feed monthly in the spring and summer, when Anthurium Veitchii plants are actively growing. Dilute the plant food to one-third the recommended strength.
